Of King Orange who was lost inside a Minecraft simulation, which led to his father vowing to get revenge on the game that took his son from him, leading to the events of Season 3 of the Animation vs. Minecraft shorts.

Gold was an ordinary stick figure, living a happy life with his father, King Orange. That all changed one night, where at a festival, or an outdoor convention, he watched an advertisement for the game, Minecraft. Seeing how fun it is, he begged his father if he could try, and King Orange allowed him to play. When they went into the simulation area, the staff fired up the simulator, and he started playing inside the Minecraft world. At first, he enjoyed it, but, an unknown glitch occurred, causing the game to become corrupted. He managed to escape the simulation itself, but was unable to fully escape due to the entrance door being stuck. As the glitches started leaving the simulation, it ended up dragging Gold back inside before he was engulfed by the corruption upon which the world collapsed on itself due to a fatal error with him still inside, destroying him in the process.

This traumatization heavily impacted King Orange as he vowed to get revenge on Minecraft itself by destroying it, as he started researching everything he could about the game and hired Purple on as his lackey once he revealed his connections to the stick figures who discovered the Minecraft Game Icon, with this desire to avenge his son consuming him entirely and being the only thing he cared about.

During the climax of The King, when Purple attempted to trek up to King Orange's beam, the latter started to see him as Gold, before he appears in his memory and saw the event of him losing Gold before attempting to take out all of anger on the game itself, harming all the innocent mobs and the stick figure gang. He notices how truly harsh he was with his actions and that he had taken his revenge too far.

Gold is a dark yellow solid-headed stick figure. At the time of his death, he appears to have been the same height as the Fighting Stick Figures and Purple.

Gold appears as cheerful and has a love for trying different things, as when he excitedly led his father to the Minecraft simulation booth after seeing a promo for the game at the carnival. Unlike Purple, he seems to inhertedly like physical combat due to him having had much better relationship with his father.
