Anime Winter 2019 Release Schedule
Aniplus Asia has announced its simulcast lineup for the Winter 2019 anime season. It will simulcast The Rising of the Shield Hero, Boogiepop and Others, Kemono Friends 2, B-PROJECT – Zeccho*Emotion, and The Promised Neverland .
The Rising of the Shield Hero is scheduled to premiere on January 9 at 23:00 GMT+8, with new episodes released every Wednesday at 23:00 GMT+8. The first episode will be a one-hour special. Directed by Takao Abo ( Norn9 ), Character Design is by Masahiro Suwa and Music Composition is by Kevin Penkin ( Made in Abyss, Norn9 ). Kinema Citrus is animating the series.
Naofumi Iwatani, a university student that is summoned into another world when he picked up a book about the four heroes. In the parallel world, along with the other heroes that were summoned, Naofumi is given the Legendary Shield when he was summoned. Follow him as he rises to amongst the rest, as he experiences growth, betrayal and adventures in another world.
Winter 2022 Most Anticipated Anime
Boogiepop and Others is scheduled to simulcast its first episode on January 4 at 23:00 GMT+8, with new episodes released every Friday at 23:00 GMT+8. Shingo Natsume (One Punch Man, ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept .) is directing the new anime at MADHOUSE. Hidehiko Sawada (Key Animator for One Punch Man ) is in charge of Character Design, and Kensuke Ushio ( A Silent Voice, Liz and the Blue Bird ) will be composing the series’ music.
Kemono Friends 2 is scheduled to simulcast its first episode on January 8 at 02:35 GMT+8, with new episodes being released every Tuesday at 02:35 GMT+8. Ryuichi Kimura will be directing the series at Tomason. Takuya Masumoto is in charge of Series Composition, with Akiyuki Tateyama (Kemono Friends, Laid Back Camp) as the music composer.
Kemono Friends 2 will bring to you something familiar, and something new! Go on an adventure in the familiar Japari Park, along with Serval, and also a new friend: Caracal. Along is a new lost child, Kyururu. What will unfold as they venture around Japari Park, and is there something more than knowing more Friends?
Crunchyroll Winter 2019: Final Slate Of Anime Shows Announced
B*PROJECT -Zeccho*Emotion- is scheduled to simulcast its first episode on January 12 at 00:30 GMT+8, with new episodes being released every Saturday at 00:30 GMT+8. Makoto Moriwaki (Producer for Yuri!!! on Ice ) will be directing at A-1 Pictures, while Yumiko Hara is in charge of Character Design and Ryosuke Nakanishi ( Kuroko no Basuke, The Devil is a Part-Timer ) is the series’ music composer.

The Promised Neverland is scheduled to simulcast its first episode on January 11 at 01:40 GMT+8. Episodes are released every Friday at 01:25 GMT+8. Mamoru Kanbe ( Elfen Lied ) is directing the highly anticipated series at CloverWorks, while music is composed by Takahiro Obata, and Character Design is by Kazuaki Shimada.

Keep in mind that these rankings are based on how people rated individual episodes of the current season, not on the overall quality or popularity of the series. Only the titles legally streaming in North America and popular enough to be reviewed are being ranked, so the bottom of the list might represent 'watchable' rather than 'bad'. Episode Rankings for the week of March 19-25 Along the actual ranking for this week's episodes, this graph chronicles the change in position from week to week. While some series are stable, others swing wildly in the rankings depending on the strength of each episode. When a series has no episode for a given week, the previous week's episode is used instead as a placeholder. The first episode of each series is considered as part of the first week, even if it really aired during the second week. Click on the numbers to highlight a particular series.

This is not officially counted as a position in the ranking (it has no impact on the cumulative ranking), but it makes it easier to compare weeks if they each have the same number of series ranked.
It should be noted that long-running series (and sequels) have an advantage in the sense that only people who like the series are still watching it, and they are likely to give each episode a high rating. But if such a series is going through a low-quality filler arc, the season will get low rankings that are not indicative of the true overall quality of the series.
