Blog Animal Crossing

Welcome to Blog Profiles! Each week, we select a topic and handful of blogs that do a great job contributing to the conversation. We’re dedicating this week to the gamers and recognizing a few of our favorite Animal Crossing blogs. Do you have a blog that deserves recognition? Tweet our writers at @BeyondBylines.

I’ve been playing a lot of Animal Crossing. My town is still looking mostly rural and it’s probably going to stay that way, as my Animal Crossing experience hasn’t really changed since the first game came out on GameCube.

Welcome

About a third of my work team are playing Animal Crossing right now. My housemate also got a Switch and Animal Crossing last weekend and has been essentially glued to her console in her downtime.

A Big Animal Crossing X Pokemon Au Art Blog Thing.

Amy has been active, at some point or another, in every iteration of Animal Crossing to date. Her blog dates all the way back to 2011 and she has kept up with posting about every iteration of the game she appears in. Amy’s blog is arranged by game and visiting her GameCube section gave me a nostalgia rush.

Her latest town is named Citàlune. The latest blog post about her town explains that she’s still getting started. I’m excited to see what she’s done with the place in her next post!

Gorgeous 😍 The brown I used for my QR borders is made to blend in with the NL dirt, it's a shame it doesn't quite match. Really amazing to see this, makes me want to make more mosaics in New Horizons ✨🥰 https://t.co/Cr16iEWqE0 — Amy (@aforestlife) May 3, 2020

Room Reno: Animal Crossing Inspired Build

Jeff has also been active in every iteration of Animal Crossing. But instead of having one blog for all five games, he has five separate blogs providing relatively frequent updates (his GameCube blog was last updated on April 30).

Jeff’s New Horizons town is called Forest. If you want to take a visit, he plans activities and games for visitors to participate in.

This is actually one of the main Animal Crossing blogs and is more of a community-based blog that provides informative updates of what’s going on in the Animal Crossing community. It also covers Pocket Camp, the mobile game that came out in late 2018 that I haven’t seen covered on any blogs so far.

Tabby's House Remodeled

I’ve been visiting this blog for a while actually because it releases two Fish and Bugs Guides twice a month. They let you know which new Fish and Bugs will appear on your island and which Fish and Bugs will disappear at the end of the month.

Posts that were helpful to me: Every New Fish & Bug Creature In May For Animal Crossing: New Horizons (Northern & Southern Hemisphere); and The Largest US Art Museum Adds Animal Crossing Pattern Buttons To Over 400, 000 Art Pieces On Their Website.

I typically steer away from including Tumblr blogs in these posts, but Animal Crossing seems to be almost designed for Tumblr because it’s so visual and photo-worthy.

Animal Crossing: Merch Madness

I gravitated toward “another animal crossing blog” because of the incredibly scenic photos of Animal Crossing and the way the town is designed to be beautiful in a way that I will never hope to come near. The AC photos are so striking that it looks like they’re designing a movie. They also create cute narratives to surround the photos.

I already planned on doing daily gameplay posts on here, but they’re starting a little early now!

I did a lot in Animal Crossing yesterday, and took over 200 screenshots, so there’s no way I can possibly include everything into this blog post. So don’t be alarmed if things seem to jump around in time a bit.

After spending an hour and a half picking through various different maps, I finally moved on and headed into my village for the very first time on the train. My face turned out to be quite nice and my starting shirt isn’t too bad either!

Musings Of An Average Mom: Animal Crossing Crochet Patterns

The lovely villagers of Waikiki were awaiting my arrival at the Train Station, or so it seemed like it at least! My secretary Isabelle made sure that everyone in town gave me a warm welcome. 🙂

She asked me to follow her to the Town Hall of Waikiki for initial processing. On the way, I discovered my native town fruit are Apples! I hope to find a perfect Apple…

Apparently, in Waikiki, a Mayor should first be a resident!  Or at least, that’s what Isabelle told me… She knows what she’s doing, right?!? Well, she had someone in mind to handle my housing situation.

Animal Crossing: A Personal Experience

He’s going to handle my housing situation although he didn’t say what it was going to cost me… Eh, I guess he’s just being nice and giving it to me for free, right?

I’ve been told by Tom Nook that I can choose where I want my house, I just have to take him there. So don’t worry about the Tanuki following me around Waikiki. I ended up choosing to build my house in the bottom right of my map near the beach on the cliff. It’s quite the cozy spot.

Unfortunately, I forgot to catch a screenshot at the time, so you’ll have to wait a bit longer! After that, I left a nice message on the Waikiki Bulletin Board and headed back to Town Hall to meet up with Isabelle.

How To Make A Fun Doodle Of Animal Crossing Cubs

She informed me of an important ceremony happening… starring me! We scurried on over to the Town Plaza to plant the official Waikiki Town Tree, with all of the village residents present. It was quite the event!

Of course, after planting the tree, I did just what any quality mayor would do: Survey the residents to fish for compliments see what they think of their new mayor! Lolly was happy to oblige. 🙂

Finding myself free to explore, I toured the town’s shops with Nookling Junction and Re-Tail. Tommy was there to greet me at Nookling Junction, while the friendly alpacas were
