Animal Jam Best Non Member Den Ever
This week's theme is non-member. I'm so happy you guys liked last week's den, and I loved all of your suggestions in the comments! As for next weeks den, I've set up a Straw Poll so you guys can vote on the theme! It'll end Friday, September 25th.
The last image is a den by Phoubear! Phou is a non-member, and therefore has to be a tad more creative than his member counterparts do. That brings me onto today's theme!
Non-members have less available features than members. While that's understandable because members pay upwards of 6 - 7 USD a month, the lack of flooring, pets and animals doesn't seem quite fair.
Non Membr Den Ideas
I've come up with my own 100% non-member den in effort to help inspire those looking for ideas on how to make their dens unique with a limited amount of space and items.
By now, you guys should know that I like to start by choosing a type of den, in this case it has to be a Small House!
A mailbox is important so that you can keep in touch with friends near and far, and a welcome mat is a nice little touch. The Bunny Statue just gives it a little flair, don't you think?
Animal Jam Spirit Blog: Spirit Dens #3
If you ever see someone asking if there are any AJS fans around, that's probably me looking for picture models! Make sure to say something like me! or I am!. I love meeting new people!
Anyways, the living room is super cozy and fun! The Outback Imports chairs are modern, yet old-school, and the default table is very nature-y. Don't forget a floral centerpiece and some teacups!
Now, non-members don't get to buy TV's, but that doesn't mean that your living room has to go without one. It's just time to get creative!
How To Get Rare Through Land Adventures In Animal Jam: 14 Steps
Two Wavy Bookshelves, a Shoji Screen and a game console, such as the newly non-memberized Overflow, or Sky High, will do quite nicely.
Make sure to adjust the setup so that the layering works out. What I mean by this is that the game should be centered between both bookshelves, and the Shoji Screen should be adjusted accordingly.
Two leafy fans make for some nice air conditioning, and they look cool too! Just hide the bases behind the roof tiles. A World Animal Day banner will spruce up those plain sky walls.
What Is The 'my Shop' Den Item?
For the bedroom area, I've kept it simple. An orange Striped Couch paired with an Egyptian Rug works well, because they both have the same color scheme! Cleverclaw's Dresser is a lovely touch to any bedroom. As for the wall décor, I've put up a Howl Plaque, Jamaa's Flag, and some carnival flags!
As for the little porch outside, I've put in a bicycle, some leaves and hay bales to continue the fall theme, a telescope and some orange and yellow balloons! I also put in a Lynx statue just for fun. :)
I hope that I've helped to inspire you guys, and to show you that you don't need a membership to make your den special and unique. That goes for your animals too! Any animal can look fabulous with a little effort.Now, if you've read my posts recently you would know that my membership expired about a week ago! At first I was really bummed out. There's a lot that non members CAN'T do. But why focus on the negatives when you could look at the positives?
Non Member Pond Idea
I designed a new autumn-inspired den for myself that is entirely non member and I had so much fun! That got me thinking - why not discuss some of my favourite non member items? Let's get into it, shall we?
I particularly love the couch and the table! The couch looks so comfy and well-built (a lot of non member items often look tattered)! And the tables can be used in creative ways such as a porch for the front of your den - credit to PierceArrow for the idea!
These little chairs come out in March and boy do I love them! They're extremely cute, versatile, and give your den a nice homely feel!
Ajpc Den Tier List — Animal Jam Archives
This item is extremely easy to use and it can be earned from some adventures! Don't know what to put by that empty patch of wall? Place a toy box there! It makes for a great and practical item. I also love how woody and earthy it is - the true spirit of AJ!
This item is loads of fun! Slap it on any animal and you've got yourself a recipe for a good time. I particularly like this on Rhinos - trust me, it's hilarious!
The telescope is definitely one of my all-time favourite den items. It's rare to find one of my dens that doesn't include this piece! It has a really cool old-timey look and seems very natural and true to the spirit of animal jam! It can also instantly turn any space into an interesting intellectual corner!
Decorating Non Member Dens!
It's simple, it's colourful, and it makes a great addition to any wall. What's not to love? This item has saved many of my walls from drab-land. Just stick one of these on your wall and it's an instant pop of colour to your den (and a pretty great reminder about the game we all love!)
There are so many varieties of them, and they're so cute! Plushies are a staple of my den decorating, and I really love hoarding them! Daily fun fact of the day: I have every single crocodile plushie in the set!
These items come in a variety of different styles, and make great dividers, walls, and even windows/wall decorations! I totally suggest that you guys try making shoji screen windows/wall decorations, or using them in different creative ways!
Non Member Upper Floor Idea
Now you might be thinking Oh of course. How typical. But really! Masterpieces are paw-some! They can be anything from a cool decoration, a custom sign, a funny idea, to a symbol of friendship. Highly collectable, these make the perfect unique gift and an awesome decoration piece. I love masterpieces!
That's my list of items I really love. There's A LOT more, but that would have made the list crazy long! I tried to stay away from items such as betas that are difficult to get your paws on- it's always nice to showcase items that even beginner jammers can get!
